Have owned this car since 1976. Drove for years, only gave up when we started having children. In tatty condition awaiting rebuild, have newish chassis just awaiting willpower.
| |
I just purchased it in November of 2005!
Neglected for many years in the Ramsgate Motor Museum, and recently sold from the Shape Family Collection at Christie's auction, for a trip across the pond to Bruce Weiner's Microcar Museum in Madison Georgia, USA, and finally to the private Matchbox Motors Microcar Collection of Charles Gould in Newton, (near Boston), Massachusetts, USA. I finally got it running, new brake & clutch hydraulics, lifting piston for the canopy, and just about ready for the first maiden voyage in approximately 25 years. I would greatly appreciate any information on the history of this particular Bond Bug. Write me at chasgould@aol.com and See our other Microcars at www.bubbledrome.com. Thank you.
